Join Cumbria, AWS, and Mark43 to learn about the future of police report writing and analytics.
In the United Kingdom, the concept of 'policing by consent' has been central to community safety since Sir Robert Peele established his principles in the 1820s. Public trust and confidence beget the authority to operate, and police necessarily do their best to reduce crime, care for their communities, and evolve the profession.
For over a decade, Mark43 has been delivering on those community safety goals in the U.S. with transformative, modern technology. In early 2022, Mark43 partnered with AWS and Cumbria Constabulary to extend these proven solutions to the U.K.’s evolving police landscape. Mark43 software aims to increase officers’ field time and enhance communication with the community they serve.
“The system Mark43 will be providing us with will help us continually improve for the benefit of our workforce and the public. Our officers and staff use digital systems throughout their duties and having them as streamlined and free of duplication as possible means more officers out on the beat or spending time keeping people safe. This new technology is aimed at helping operational policing – the officers on the frontline keeping our communities safe. We’re delighted to be working with Mark43 on this exciting partnership.”
- Assistant Chief Constable Jonathan Blackwell, Cumbria Police
Capturing and sharing data historically has been time consuming and painful, but writing crime reports, capturing intel, and logging property should accelerate the service you provide to your communities, not hinder it.
